Schanner to distribute Bauer’s Prosharp in four European markets

After the Canadian hockey specialist Bauer Hockey acquired the Swedish company Prosharp AB, specializing in fully automatic grinding machines for skate blades, in August 2021, the company now announced that Schanner Eishockeyartikel GmbH + Co. KG will take over the distribution of Prosharp in Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia on June 1, 2022. The company from Füssen in southern Germany has been Bauer Hockey’s distribution partner for many years. Montana, a global player in the ski and skate service machines market, is on board as the exclusive machine service provider for the Prosharp grinders.
