Schuhe24.de, a company founded and run by Dominik Benner, a German shoe retailer who was formerly a member of ANWR's supervisory board, aims to diversify from footwear by entering the sporting goods and fashion sectors. A new internet portal, Sportmarken24.de, was launched in February. It is managed by Benner's wife, Valeska Benner. About 100 retailers are already affiliated with the new online retail platform. Each retailer is said to be receiving between 10-80 orders per day. Some of the retailers who are using the portal are members of Sport 2000 or Intersport. In about six weeks, Benner aims to launch another  online portal for the fashion industry. A total of 820 shoe retailers are currently members of Schuhe24.de. Some of them are members of voluntary groups like ANWR or Sabu, which are beginning to offer a multitude of digital services to their members. Benner, who launched his original platform in 2015, aims to reach total sales of €100 million by 2021.
