Scorpio Golf, an apparel and performance fabric manufacturer based in Dubai, is going consumer at this year’s Golf Europe in Munich. Scorpio, which is owned by Promo Golf, a distributor as well as manufacturer, has until now been focused on corporate and crested apparel produced in small quantities. It has signed its first Ladies European Tour player, the German Elisabeth Esterl, who is attached to the Emirates Golf Club. She will wear the company’s new women’s range for 2009-10.
