Scott Creelman, an American executive who spent 35 years with Spalding Sports, died on Sept. 21 at the age of 68, after fighting against cancer for five years. He gradually worked his way up to president and chief executive of Spalding after holding many positions with the company including that of vice president, international. He spent four years until 1983 for the company in Cambridge, England. He retired from Spalding for the second time in 2008.
