Scott Sports is using Deflexion material, a patent-pending protective fabric by Dow Corning, in its new collection of winter sports products. Deflexion is a silicone-based material that helps to shield the body from impact, and was first in display in Scott Flex back protectors at Ispo. It can be sewn directly into clothing, eliminating the need for bulky padding. Scott's back protectors are designed for skiers and other winter sports participants.
