The ANWR Group is expanding its Ordercenter O1 in Mainhausen with a second extension building, thus manifesting its claim to expand the campus from a regional order location to a European marketplace. With the commissioning of the new site (planned to open in April 2024), more than 90 manufacturers will then be able to present their products to shoe, sports and leather goods retailers on a total of 15,500 sqm.
Fritz Terbuyken, CEO of the ANWR Group, sees evidence of the growing importance of the campus and the Mainhausen location also in the growing interest of the supplier side in locating their European sales offices at the site. In addition to Nike and Skechers, the expansion will now also bring the Crocs sales team with its Crocs and Heydude brands to the ANWR campus. Shoe manufacturer Rieker is also planning its European showroom at the Mainhausen location in the future. Backpack and bag manufacturer Deuter and sports shoe supplier Hoka have signed up for new showrooms in Mainhausen. In addition to suppliers to the footwear and sports industries, also leather goods and bag specialists, such as Samsonite and Fond Of, are settling into the O1 Ordercenter.
