Shareholding in Sports Unlimited, the Spanish sporting goods show in Valencia, is set to change. It is currently a joint venture between Reed Exhibitions Iberia and Feria Valencia. As Reed has decided to make a strategic withdrawal from the Iberian market, Feria Valencia is planning to take full control over the event. Reed plans to invest more of its own resources on emerging markets such as Saudi Arabia. However, it will continue to support the next edition of Sports Unlimited, directly and through its Fibo show in Germany. Scheduled to take place on March 5-7, the next edition of Sports Unlimited is expecting 110 exhibitors and 1,000 buyers, including some foreign buyers. New brands such as Trangowold, Vaude, Dunlop and Babolat have agreed to participate in the fair, and the Spanish association of gym operators has agreed to support it this time.
