Shimano Europe has announced the appointment of Erik Naberman as managing director of its fishing tackle division. He replaces Cor Ax, who left the company earlier this year. Naberman has been with Shimano for 21 years. Most recently, he was managing director of Shimano Benelux, a role that he has held for ten years. René Veenhuizen, who is currently sales director of Shimano Europe's bike division, will take over as the new managing director of Shimano Benelux, effective Oct. 1st. Also, Shimano has appointed Jan Harmen as senior international sales and marketing manager in charge of the group's fishing tackle sales and marketing team.
