Shimano has signed an agreement with the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) to join the ECF Cycling Industry Club. Shimano has become the fifth company to sign up to the Club since Eurobike. The Cycling Industry Club was founded at Eurobike in 2011 to improve cycling advocacy. It now has more than 30 members from all sectors of the industry including bikes, parts, publishing and IT services. The Club aims to create a €1 million advocacy fund, which supports the European Cyclists' Federation's aim to double the level of cycling in Europe.
