Snowsports Industries America (SIA) announced today the appointment of Rachel Grogan-Cook as the new Chair of the SIA Board of Directors. In addition to Grogan-Cook, four new Directors have been appointed. SIA aims to balance the priorities of serving as a catalyst for solving industry challenges and creating opportunities for community and collaboration with its member companies. Dedicated to facilitating industry-wide strategic initiatives, SIA strives to ensure a thriving winter outdoor industry and deliver significant business value to its members.

According to SIA, the new board members bring a wealth of industry experience and expertise, along with a passion that will continue to develop the snowsports community.

The new members joining the SIA Board are:

  • Rachel Grogan-Cook, Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Burton Snowboards, assumes the role of Chair of the SIA Board of Directors
  • Erik Anderson, Vice President of Winter Sports Equipment for Salomon NA
  • Danica Carey, Director of Marketing Operations at Seirus Innovation
  • Jennifer McVey, North America Director at Nidecker Group
  • Shane Wallace, VP of Global Sales at Dakine
