SIA, the American snow sports show, will move its dates from January to Dec. 5-7 as of 2017, but it will continue to be held in Denver. It will run from Tuesday through Thursday, allowing retailers to remain in their shops during the weekend. Ski Industries of America said it had chosen the earlier dates to align the show more closely with the normal buying cycle. It will be interesting to see the reactions of Ispo Munich, where the ski sector is heavily represented, and the more U.S.-oriented Outdoor Retailer Winter Market.
