Skechers opened a national distribution center near Mumbai, India. The 55,700-sqm facility is located in the Lodha Industrial and Logistics Park in Kalyan and has the capacity to dispatch up to 60,000 pairs of shoes daily. The site represents the initial phase of a strategic partnership to develop a 102,000-sqm facility in Palava township developed by the Lodha group.

”We have expanded our corporate presence in Mumbai and invested in over 400 Skechers retail stores to establish a wider presence that connects us deeper with our consumers. As the Indian footwear market gears up for its next phase of expansion, the national distribution center is poised to efficiently meet the current market demand and drive seamless growth for future generations,” said Rahul Veera, Skechers’ CEO  for South Asia.

Skechers entered the Indian market in 2012 and took full control of its joint venture in 2018.
