Ski companies that are members of Fesi (Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry) gathered their efforts, coordinated by the Federation, on Jan. 18 to promote snow sport activities through three World Snow Day events, in Germany, Italy and Austria, respectively. Participating companies for the 2015 edition included Atomic, Blizzard, Elan, Head, Nordica, Salomon, Tecnica, Marker Völkl. The companies offered both equipment and technical personnel to the selected events, in which children who may not afford to have equipment otherwise had a chance to test a snow sport for little or no cost. Fesi members delivered a total of around 300 pairs of free junior skis and boots.
