Skullcandy, the American maker of headphones for the action sports and outdoor markets, reports a sales increase of 29.0 percent to $83.4 million for the fourth quarter. While domestic sales rose by 27.0 percent to $59.1 million, international sales grew by only 18.8 percent to $15.3 million, despite the takeover of the distribution in Europe. Adjusted net income for the quarter was up by 22.5 percent to $13.2 million. For the full year, the company's adjusted net income went up by 27.7 percent to $23.5 million on 44.8 percent higher revenues of $232.5 million. Domestic and international sales rose by 34.0 and 54.2 percent, respectively. Online sales increased by 73.0 percent to $9.0 million for the year, with a similar momentum in the final quarter.
