Skullcandy's revenues rose by 48 percent in the first quarter to $53.3 million, overtaking the $44.2 million projection that had been made by financial analysts for the period. On the other hand, the net income of the American supplier of special headphones rose by only 6 percent to $1.1 million due to legal costs related to a dispute with Monster Cable Products that was settled in February. The company is predicting sales of between $280 million and $300 million for the full financial year.
