Two new shops in Germany have opened their doors under the Absolute Teamsport concept by Sport 2000. The concept aims to provide a specialized, comprehensive range of team sports products and services. With the new Absolute Teamsport Rauscheid in Alsdorf and the Absolute Teamsport Burdenski Sportswear in Bremen, the total number of team sports concept stores in Germany adds up to seven. Both stores use existing floor space: Absolute Teamsport Rauscheid was named Sportsfreund Alsdorf before adopting the Sport 2000 store concept for its 200-sqm shop. The 450-sqm Absolute Teamsport Burdenski Sportswear store has been an established market player in Bremen since 1990. The main brands carried within the multi-channel format are Nike, Adidas, Puma, Hummel, Jako and Derbystar. According to Sport 2000, more store openings are in the planning in Germany and all over Europe for 2022.
