Sport 2000 Germany has enlarged its advisory board, electing four new directors who represent some of its more specialized sports stores. Martin Schwarz of Heymann & Schwarz in Wuppertal will represent the owners of 129 stores that specialize in team sports, although many of them also cater to other categories. The 110 running specialty stores affiliated with the group under the Laufprofis format will be represented by Jost Wiebelhaus from the Frankfurter Laufshop. Frank Hirt from X-Sport Hirt & Härter in Kastellaun will represent the 140 Outdoor Profis stores of the group. Markus Müller of sc24.com will be the spokesman for the online retailers, including 52 retail partners that are generating the major part of their sales online. The other six members of the advisory board continue to represent the generalist retailers of Sport 2000 Germany. The voluntary group gained 130 new members last year, building up to 940 independent partners with more than 1,250 shops.
