With the 2022/2023 winter season, Sport 2000 has begun to implement the new SkiExperts concept for the group’s winter sports specialists in Germany. The first 52 SkiExperts stores receive special human resources, marketing and procurement support. The service modules are coordinated with one another to offer the best consumer experience and, at the same time, enable retailers to generate higher gross profits through fewer markdowns and advantages in purchasing.
In the area of consulting and training, Sport 2000 offers, among other things, access to special expert training by the German Ski Association (DSV). The first of these courses was a boot-fitting Masterfit University in Kitzbühel, Austria. Exclusively for SkiExperts, there was also professional ski test coaching with experts from the DSV test team in January. SkiExperts also use DSV co-branding to make their expertise visible and offer customers special benefits, such as ski pass vouchers. SkiExperts become certified partners of the DSV – provided that the association approves their ski repair shop.
SkiExperts also have exclusive merchandise services to rely on. In addition to special merchandise packages with special conditions and advertising budgets, they also benefit from access to exclusive and early intro products, among other things. The company’s own merchandise commission selects the collections and provides SkiExperts with the appropriate purchasing recommendations. An extended winter-season valuta rounds off the portfolio.
