Sport 2000 promotes Bert Verdijck to country manager Benelux

Bert Verdijck, manager of the Belgian operations of Sport 2000, will take over a newly created role as country manager Benelux for the buying group based in Mainhausen, Germany, by expanding his area or responsibility to include the Netherlands and Luxemburg. In this role, he reports directly to the Sport 2000 GmbH management board in Mainhausen. In the Netherlands, Verdijck replaces the current managing director of sports retail at ANWR Garant, Terence Abrahamsen, who is leaving the company at the end of November to pursue new challenges.
