German sports retailer Sport Conrad, based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, will switch from Intersport to Sport 2000 on Oct. 1, 2024. The retailer has so far been a so-called cooperation partner of Intersport and therefore does not appear on the market under this brand.
“We chose Sport 2000 because the association, with its clear focus on specialized ski, running and outdoor retail, meets all the requirements we have for a purchasing association,” commented Hans Conrad, Managing Director of Sport Conrad, on the motives behind the decision. “The match in the supplier portfolio ensures the greatest possible support for our purchasing team and ensures that our customers continue to benefit from a high-quality product variety.”
