Sport Danmark, the Danish retail group acquired by Nordic Capital Funds in 2012, has acquired a local online store for football products, Fodboldexperten.dk. Thomas Olsen, who ran the web store, will continue as a consultant to Sport-Master, the big Danish sporting goods retail chain that is also owned by Sport Danmark. The takeover is part of a new strategy aimed at raising sales by 15 percent over the next two to three years under the management of Jens Høgsted, who took over as chief executive of Sport-Master a year ago. Sport Danmark made a loss of 55.2 million Danish kroner (€7.42m-$9.56m) in the past year. Sport-Master's sales declined slightly to DKK 1,041 million (€139.85m-$180.30m) from DKK 1,115 million in the previous year.
