Sport Fundgrube, the price-driven retailer with 37 outlets in Germany and Austria, has appointed Toni Schmidt as co-managing director next to the owner, Willy Kühme. Schmidt was a longtime friend of the late Christian Kühme, the owner's son who died in an avalanche in 2009.
