Sport Nordic, the Danish company that owns Sportmaster, has added an important sneaker store in Copenhagen to its store network. After buying the Unisport store in Copenhagen last January, it has taken over Rezet Sneaker, a store that sells the sneakers of major sports brands. Rezet was originally founded in Ibiza by the founder of Unisport, Henrik Bousager Larsen, and it opened its doors in Copenhagen in 2011. Sport Nordic wants to open other Rezet stores in Denmark and expand its online sales platform internationally. Sport Nordic is the company set up by the Nordic Capital Fund VII to take over Sportmaster in 2012, transforming it from a voluntary group into an integrated retail chain. It launched Sportmaster's e-commerce business in 2013 and bought an online football retailer, Fodboldexperten.dk, in 2014.
