Sport Partner from the Netherlands has reported the death of Albertus Cornelis Johannes at the age of 78. Commonly known as “Ab” van Bergen, he ran his eponymous distribution company, specializing in camping and winter sports. He worked as a buyer for the former Golden Team cooperative of retailers, and he helped set up the former Spocom trade show. His sons Peter and Raymond have been running his business for the past 15 years.
