Sportamore, the Swedish online sporting goods retailer, has switched to a new warehouse, but the move did not quite go as planned. The start of the project was delayed by one month, causing about 35 percent of the range offered on its website not to be available for shipment. As a result, sales decreased by 5.6 percent in the third quarter, compared with the increase of 19.3 percent recorded in the same quarter of last year. The loss for the quarter amounted to 12.4 million Swedish kronor (€1.3m-$1.5m), of which SEK 9.1 million (€0.9m-$1.1m) was for the one-off cost of the logistic move.
