SportScheck's sales declined by 5.1 percent to €319 million in the financial year ended last Feb. 28, according to preliminary figures published by its parent company, the Otto Group, which blamed the poor weather conditions in Germany for the drop. The total retail turnover of the German group fell by 0.4 percent to €10.07 billion, but online sales increased by 7 percent to €5.7 million, including sales of €3.7 billion in Germany. Adding revenues from shopping centers and other activities and services, the group's total revenues went up by 1.8 percent to €12 billion, or 3.3 percent up from the previous year in terms of local currencies.
