With the start of the 2022/2023 season this summer, the music streaming service Spotify will become FC Barcelona’s new main sponsor, replacing Rakuten. The contract is initially effective for four seasons and includes jersey sponsorship for the men’s and women’s teams as well as naming rights for the stadium. As a result, Camp Nou will be renamed “Spotify Camp Nou” from summer 2022. According to media reports, the deal is expected to generate €270 million for the Catalan football club, or nearly €70 million per season.
