Spy Optic continued to improve its results in the first quarter ended last March 31. Its net losses were reduced to $721,000 in the period from $2,608,000 in the same quarter a year ago, while sales increased by 10.6 percent to $9,008,000. They now consist almost exclusively of Spy branded products, whose sales jumped by 14 percent. However, the company's sales outside North America were down by 2.4 percent to $799,000 (more in Eyewear Intelligence).
