Stadium, the Scandinavian sporting goods retailer based in Sweden, has closed three of its stores in Denmark, where it has reported a decrease in sales of just over one million Swedish kronor, down to SEK 63 million (€7.07m-$9.73m) for the financial year ended last Aug. 31. Profits before tax remained roughly the same as the year before and amounted to SEK 3.35 million (€0.38m-$0.52m). Stadium expects positive growth in the chain's eight remaining Danish stores.
