Stephan Krug left as general manager of Sioux by mutual agreement and for personal reasons on Sept. 30 after 14 months with the German shoe company, which was acquired last year by private investors with the help of Square Four, the Frankfurt-based investment company that had previously acquired control of Rohde. A former manager of Timberland, Clarks, Wolverine World Wide and Collective Brands, Krug is now looking for other opportunities in the shoe and sporting goods sectors (more in Shoe Intelligence).
