Suunto has recalled a batch of high-pressure rubber hoses used with its “air-integrated dive computers, dive computer combos and analog combos,” as the diving equipment manufacturer has identified defective hose material in the products that may affect the durability of the hose. The hoses in question, which will be on products bought between November 2012 and July 2013, are from a batch coded 1812, are around 84 cm long and 12.5 mm wide, and have a black outer covering. The company said that if the high-pressure rubber hose in the product has the identification details listed above, diving is prohibited and the product is to be immediately returned to the nearest Suunto Dive authorized dealer, where it will be changed free of charge.
