TaiSPO, the Taipei International Sporting Goods Show, is the second-largest sporting goods trade show in Asia. Its 38th edition held in April drew 1,892 international visitors from 75 countries, its largest international visitor count yet and an increase of 2 percent from the year before. The countries with the largest contingents at the fair were China, Japan, the U.S., Korea, Australia, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Germany. A total of 8,409 visitors attended. Next year, TaiSPO will be held along with Taipei Cycle, Taiwan International Diving and Water Sports Show, and Taipei International Sports Textile & Accessories Expo. Combined, the shows will have 6,000 booths and are expected to draw more than 10,000 international buyers.
