TaylorMade-Adidas Golf is looking to Asia to aid its plans to expand its apparel and footwear business from the current level of $400 million to $700 million in four years. MSNBC.com has reported that John Kawaja, executive vice president for TaylorMade-Adidas Golf, said that Japan in particular would be a focus, as the golf market there is nearly as big as the one in the U.S. It will continue growing in Europe and the U.S. as well, and also through Adidas' expanding store network.
