TaylorMade Golf has announced the official opening of its expanded golf ball plant facility at TaylorMade Golf Ball Korea (TMBK). It is the company’s third golf ball plant globally, joining its facilities in Liberty (South Carolina) and Taiwan.

TaylorMade created TMBK following the acquisition of Nassau Golf Co. Ltd in 2021. It then invested substantial resources in the facility to increase its capacity and meet the demand for TaylorMade’s growing golf ball business.

The expanded facility is located in Cheongju, approximately two hours south of Seoul. The modernization work focused on the TMBK facility, infrastructure and digital technology. The company said that TaylorMade’s five-layer TP5/TP5X golf balls will be produced in TMBK, as well as its Tour Response and SpeedSoft models.

As part of upgrading digital capabilities, the TMBK facility in South Korea will also produce TaylorMade’s visual technology products, such as TP5/TP5x pix, MySymbol, Tour Response Stripe and SpeedSoft Ink.
