Technogym confirms through a company executive that it has filed the documentation to go public on the Milan stock exchange in order to promote its international expansion. According to the Italian media, the Italian company raised its operating profit before amortization (Ebitda) by 40 percent last year to €86.7 million on 10 percent higher sales of €511.8 million. Nerio Alessandri, founder of the company, sold a 40 percent stake in Technogym to a private equity fund, Candover, in 2008 for about €400 million. His family retained majority control.
