Tennis-Point is the new official sponsor of the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. As the governing body of college tennis in the U.S., the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) administers regional and national rankings for all five divisions of college tennis (NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and NJCAA), including team, singles and doubles rankings. The ITA was founded in 1956 and includes nearly 1,700 men’s and women’s teams representing more than 1,250 institutions. Tennis-Point, a subsidiary of Signa Sports United (SSU) and a German-based leading global online retailer of tennis products, recently expanded its presence in the U.S. market with the acquisition of Midwest Sports in June 2021 and Tennis Express in January 2022. The ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings will feature a new logo indicating Tennis-Point’s sponsorship on the ITA website www.wearecollegetennis.com, ITA rankings and results pages, new team and player profiles, and social media.
