The anti-dumping duties that the EU imposed on bike saddles imported from China in 2007 have expired without being renewed. The European Saddle Manufacturers Association didn't request that the duties be renewed, and the European Commission didn't launch a review investigation. Bike Europe has reported that European manufacturers aren't worried that dropping the duties will affect sales, because since 2007, other measures have been enacted, such as the REACH environmental standards that exporting companies much adhere to.
