The Australian media have reported about the insolvency of BLK, the brand of team sports jerseys based in Queensland. It has contracts with many football, rugby and netball teams in Australia, and a few also in Europe. Executives of the company declined to provide information on the consequences of the legal proceedings. Jamie Harris and Anthony Connelly of McGrath Nicol, who have been appointed as receivers, said they were appraising BLK's operations to determine the best course of action. BLK incurred delays in deliveries earlier this year because its manufacturing facility in Fiji was affected by energy shortages and transportation shortcomings following a cyclone that struck the area in February.
