The board of directors of Intersport PSC Holding, which is the Swiss licensee of Intersport, has decided to apply for de-listing on the SIX Swiss stock exchange by the summer of 2016 because of the small volume of transactions with its shares and the cost of remaining a public company. Only 9.01 percent of the 440,000 shares are trading publicly. The company has a market capitalization of 23.5 million Swiss francs (€21.8m-$23.4m) and is controlled by Zelfi Sports, a Swiss company that is partly owned by the family holding company of a British investor, Nicholas Berry.
