The board of Snow Sports Industries of America (SIA) appointed Nick Sargent as its next president, taking the place of David Ingemie after next January's SIA show in Denver, Colorado. Sargent has spent 12 years at Burton Snowboards, cultivating relationships with big companies such as 3M, Fox Sports, Garmin and Pepsico. In May 2014, he was made vice president of Burton's Global Business Alliance. Before joining the company, Sargent conducted Adidas-Salomon's initiatives at the Winter Olympics. Ingemie has been running the SIA for 35 years.
