The Bread & Butter fair in Berlin may not take place at all on Jan. 19-21. According to conflicting media reports that could not be verified at the time of going to press, Crocs and a few other firms - between 80 and 200 - were still due to participate in the trade show, but in a single hall of Berlin's former Tempelhof airport or another venue in the city. Many brands stopped supporting the show after its controversial founder, Karl-Heinz Müller, threatened to move the fair back to Barcelona. It's not clear whether he will have enough support and enough financial resources to implement a plan to start an Asian edition of B&B in Seoul next September. Meanwhile, four other simultaneous trade shows in Berlin - Bright, Premium, Seek and Show & Order - have decided to join forces by proposing joint registration and a single entrance ticket for visitors.
