The change in European leadership reported at the Adidas Group last month has revealed several other changes, particularly the appointment of Markus Baumann as senior vice president in charge of global product operations for Adidas. Baumann has already been with the Adidas group for eleven years, the last three of them as general manager for football at Adidas. He has been replaced in this position by Nick Craggs, who was previously senior vice president for the Adidas brand in Western Europe. This entity covers nearly all of the European market at the Adidas Group. In turn, the seat left vacant by Craggs was taken over in April by Guillaume de Monplanet. He formerly led the Adidas Group in France but he already moved to a European position in charge of direct to consumer channels last year. It was announced during a conference call last month that the group's leadership in Western Europe has been entrusted from the start of July to Arthur Hoeld, replacing Alain Pourcelot, who has been placed in charge of the business unit for training.
