The Chinese sporting goods market should grow by nearly 13 percent this year to reach a level estimated at 135 billion yuan renmimbi (€16.54bn-$21.29bn), according to the Yano Research Institute. The Japanese market research firm said that health-conscious members of China's white-collar working class in their 20s and 30s continue to drive the demand for sports-related products, although the growth has slowed down lately.
