The European Commission has imposed provisional anti-dumping duties on electric bicycles originating in China. The duties, which came into force on July 19, range from 21.8 percent to 83.6 percent of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, depending on the manufacturer's identity. They are applicable to all e-bike categories for a period of six months. The definitive anti-dumping duties must be announced by the European Commission by Jan. 20, 2019 at the latest.
