The European Outdoor Group, which organizes the European Outdoor Summit (EOS) taking place on Oct. 13-15 in Sheffield, England, have announced that Nick Clegg, a former U.K. deputy prime minister, will present the closing speech of the convention. A multi-lingual politician, he worked for five years for the European Commission and was elected a member of the European Parliament in 1999, and he became a member of the British Parliament in 2005. Lord Sebastian Coe will kick off the EOS. Andy Rubin, chairman of Pentland Brands, will be among the keynote speakers.
