The Fila Korea group has reported a net loss of 31.8 trillion Korean won (€23.9bn-$27.0bn) for the second quarter ended June 30, compared with a profit of KRW29.5 trillion in the year-ago period, on 2.7 percent higher revenues of KRW 200.7 million (€0.15m-$0.17m). The Korean operation suffered a 7.6 percent drop in revenues to KRW 100.5 trillion (€75.6bn-$85.2bn), but its operating margin declined to 4.9 percent from 7.9 percent. At Fila USA, sales jumped by 11.5 percent to $71.3 million and the operating margin improved to 6.0 percent from 5.9 percent. Adjusted revenues from licenses decreased by 11 percent to KRW 8,992 million (€6.8m-$7.6m), with the contribution from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) declining to $3,365,000 from $3,799,000.
