The Flatiron District of New York City is the home to the first New Balance Experience Store in North America. The store has a Mondo running track as well as a Demonstration Area where customers can watch a New Balance employee assemble shoes. It takes up 4,000 square feet and has original brick walls and a red and a gray color scheme. It also includes an Innovation Area, showcasing the latest performance products, and a Look Book Wall to exhibit lifestyle products. The first Experience Store opened two years ago in Beijing.
