The fourth edition of Asia Bike in Nanjing, China, saw a substantial growth in trade visitors. The trade show is organized as a joint venture with Messe Friedrichshafen, the host of the German OutDoor and Euro Bike shows at Lake Constance. Asia Bike ran from Oct. 9-12, with the first three days reserved for trade visitors and the last day open to the public. Altogether there were 15,796 visitors, 8,812 trade and 6,984 consumer, compared with 11,674 visitors in total last year. The number brands exhibiting grew, according to the organizers, by 24 percent to 487. Next year's Asia Bike will run from Oct. 9-12 plus an additional demonstration and testing day on the eve of the show.
