The German sporting goods industry federation, BSI, has launched the “BSI Sport Clearing Center,” an EDI interface for the sporting goods industry. The aim is to work together and optimize processes by organizing a common platform for retailers and suppliers. BSI wants to accelerate data exchange between retailers and suppliers and create more efficient distribution processes. It started its project with 11 retailers - including Bergfreunde, Amazon, Engelhorn, Breuninger - and suppliers like Adidas, Ortlieb, Lowa, Joola, Marmot, Nordisk, Fibertec, Fashy, Tatonka, Zangenberg and Scippis. Globetrotter will join the platform in April.
