The International Olympic Committee has added three new events that will make their debuts at the 2014 Winter Olympics: slopestyle skiing, slopestyle snowboarding and snowboarding parallel slalom. These come on top of halfpipe skiing and women's ski jumping, which the committee added in April. The executive board of the IOC also narrowed down the list of sports that will be considered for the 2020 Olympic Games: baseball, softball, karate, roller sports, sports climbing, squash, wakeboard and wushu. Only one of these will make the cut.
